Who We Are

Founded in October 2017 as a community club with a shared passion for learning Spanish, Kansas Spanish Speakers has grown into a nonprofit organization dedicated to connecting and empowering communities across the state. Officially established as a nonprofit in May 2023, we serve as a bridge-building, community development organization focused on fostering understanding, collaboration, and belonging.

Our work centers on connecting diverse communities and empowering Spanish-speaking individuals and families through education, advocacy, and community engagement. We address critical issues such as cultural integration, health equity, and economic opportunity, while also offering educational and cultural programs designed for native English speakers.

Through this comprehensive approach, Kansas Spanish Speakers strengthens communities, promotes growth, and celebrates the rich diversity of our region. We believe that by bringing people together, sharing knowledge, and providing meaningful opportunities, we can build a more connected and thriving Kansas.
